Jesus said ..."You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Matthew 22:37-39
Jesus taught that “on these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” We believe that the gospel message is not a complicated message. It is so much more than a list of do’s and don’ts. Jesus is not calling us to be religious, He is calling us to a personal relationship with Him. Once we have begun our new life in Christ, we continue that life by loving God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. That love is expressed in the daily reading of His Word, regularly talking and listening to Him in prayer and then obeying the leadership of the Holy Spirit. Our love for God will transform our hearts and only then can we truly love others.
We are excited about what God is doing here and we are thankful for the opportunity to share His love with you. Our love for God and our love for others is expressed not just in word, but in service. God has called each of us to serve Him and to serve each other in love.
May the Lord help us to answer the call.
